Pearl Series
The PEARL Series is my creative constant, a sanctuary I return to between other projects. There is a profound, meditative beauty in their light that feels like home, and I imagine I will continue this series as long as I am able to draw.
I am endlessly drawn to the quiet perfection of a pearl; a miracle of nature, flawlessly formed and effortlessly elegant.
Foliage Series
Step into a world where nature and culture intertwine. In the debut piece of the FOLIAGE Series, every face tells a story of heritage, brought to life with a radiant spectrum of color and delicate monochromatic shading. Surrounding each subject is a crown of meticulously detailed foliage in soft shades of grey, providing a quiet, grounded contrast to the lively portraits. This series is a tribute to the beauty of our global community, meticulously crafted to bring a sense of wonder and connection to your space.
Queen Series
The QUEEN Series features a pair of stunning prints derived from original mixed-media drawings. By blending the precision of pencil with the soft, luminous textures of pastel and powdered pigments, these portraits strike a balance between realistic illustration and abstract form. The crowns are rendered through a delicate play of shapes and textures, lending each "Queen" an ethereal presence. Available as individual statements or as a striking matched pair.
Hair Series
HAIR Series is a curated collection of portraits defined by meticulous pencil work and a deep fascination with form. By marrying refined facial features with elaborate, gravity-defying hairstyles, I aim to explore the boundary between realism and the fantastical. In these works, hair is not merely an accessory but a living character, brought to life through a fusion of intricate line work and a vibrant, bold palette that adds a luminous energy to every subject.
Fractured Elegance
In this series, Angela Marcuccio explores the intersection of vulnerability and strength. Each piece serves as a tactile record of identity—layering soft, blush-toned complexions against heavy impasto and reflective gold leaf. These are not just portraits; they are excavations of the self, where the subjects seem to dissolve into and emerge from a landscape of textured abstraction.
